Create what you love

Finally I have re-discovered what I have actually enjoyed when I was young.

Decorating interiors and matching colors and creating harmony and cosiness in a space.

Contribute to this society and ensure a healthier life and earth is very important to me.

My partner and I built our self sustaining camper and learned so much during this building to live sustainably and self-sustainingly.

Also my love for creation started to flow again because I designed the whole interior of our camper. It is a Tiny house on wheels.

During my work as an optician I discovered that I could also apply this creativity online.

By helping my employer with the design of websites and marketing. That made me very happy.

A few years later Niels asked me to help with the design for his website and then the light went on because again I became super enthusiastic to create something from nothing to a beautiful result.

I asked myself: "Why didn't I do more with this?" I also said this out loud and suddenly an opportunity arose through a company Niels worked with. They asked him if he wanted to build a website and he thought of me.. "Jasmijn how would you like to help me with the design?" I responded very happily, the ball started rolling and my first assignment was a fact and Jasmijn Design was born.

I got more assignments by word of mouth and I really love it.

Sometimes it's a beautiful journey to discover what you are good at.
